Southern - Krabi & Phi Phi

Krabi & Phi Phi Islands:

Blue Pearl of Thailand
Crystal clear waterfalls, cave-dwelling monks, a crusty cemetery of ancient shells. All these and more, await the travelers to Krabi, where daydreams are everyday events. Krabi is a new golden pearl of the South of Thailand. Word is spreading fast about her pristine beaches and deserted islands: from the soft white sands of Phra Nang Bay, to the wide open space of Hat Nopparat Thara during low tide and the sparkling green waters of the Phi Phi Island. The best way to experience this magic land is by hiring a motorbike or jeep or anything that lets you feel the wind in your face. Then you can live and breathe Krabi’s verdant sun-kissed countryside: towering, pink-scarred peaks that spring from nowhere, lush untamed jungle, rows of lolling rubber trees.

You only have to look! What about  famous Krabi’s waterfalls of emerald green water feeding large shaded lotus pools. Magical colored birds flitter like angel dust as locals frolic in sun-speckled streams. And don’t forget about Phi Phi – just 40 kilometers of Krabi, idyllic islands are legendary for their natural beauty.

Phi Phi Don is the larges of the island group, most developed whilst its uninhabited sister, Phi Phi Ley, is smaller and more rugged. The area is notorious for its staggering seascape: limestone crags rising vertically from the sea, forming a mythical-like geography in this prehistoric world. If Phi Phi’s natural beauty is not enough, there is plenty to do on and off the island.

You can relax on one of the picture-postcard beaches, enjoy the crystal clear waters or snorkel on the     shallow reefs. There are a lot of  international-class hotels or bungalows dotted on Phi Phi Island and in Krabi which offer you any kind of accommodation to your choice.  If you like diving, or you wish to learn how to dive – many agencies with professional staff and PADI instructor will teach you with pleasure.
